Acceptable Use Policy

1. Don't break the law

Don't use ClipGem to create, store, or distribute content or to engage in activity that is illegal, or that promotes illegal acts, in any jurisdiction that applies to you.

2. Don't infringe others' rights

• Don't upload, generate, or publish content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property. Only submit material you have the rights to use.
• Don't violate anyone's privacy or publicity rights, or post someone's personal or confidential information without permission.

3. No harmful or abusive content

You may not use the Service to create or distribute content that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens, defames, or incites violence against any person or group;
• promotes hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics;
• sexually exploits or endangers minors, or is otherwise child sexual abuse material (we report this to authorities);
• is sexually explicit where prohibited, gratuitously violent, or designed to shock or disgust;
• promotes self-harm, dangerous activities, or illegal goods such as weapons or controlled substances.

4. No deception or manipulation

• Don't create misinformation, scams, phishing, or fraudulent content, or impersonate any person, brand, or organization.
• Don't generate deceptive synthetic media (“deepfakes”) of real people without consent, or content meant to mislead about who created it where disclosure is required.
• Disclose AI assistance, advertising, and sponsorships where the law or the destination platform requires it. You are responsible for those disclosures.

5. No spam or platform abuse

• Don't use the Service to send spam, run bulk unsolicited campaigns, or engage in inauthentic, automated, or coordinated behavior on connected platforms.
• Follow the terms, community guidelines, and API rules of every platform you connect (such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube). A violation of their rules is a violation of this AUP.
• Don't use connected accounts you aren't authorized to use.

6. Don't abuse the Service itself

• Don't probe, scan, or breach security; circumvent rate limits, credit limits, or access controls; or attempt to access data that's not yours.
• Don't reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as the law expressly allows, and don't use it to build a competing product or train a competing model.
• Don't introduce malware, overload our infrastructure, or interfere with other users' use of the Service.
• Don't resell, sublicense, or share access to the Service except as expressly permitted.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and, at our discretion, remove content, throttle or suspend features, or suspend or terminate accounts — with or without notice, depending on severity. Serious violations may be reported to platforms or authorities. We're not obligated to monitor content, but we may.
